Did I leave a comment a month ago?

Theyre, my uncle, was in Holland in the late 'Sixties' receiving treatment for a pretty horrible and embarrassing disease and we all thought he was going to die. He went into a depression for months and could only produce his famous 'Crucified tree forms'. At least 40 paintings of this nature were attributed to him. He had studied theology at Cambridge in 1922 and like his father was expected to go into the church. Not Methodist as some have speculated. He studied commercial art at The Slade instead and although he exhibited all over the world, Sydney, NY, Tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong, Chelsea was his home, dying there as a recluse twenty years ago.
